Friends of Bridgewater Public Library Stroll/Tea
June 9th, 2012

I took part is this 1910s era Stroll and Tea that was put on by the Friends of the Bridgewater Public Library, as a fundraiser for the library. We strolled around Bridgewater center, visiting some of the local shops, which was great fun, as some of these shops, I had never been in! Then, we went to the library where we had a lovely tea with every delicious thing and the yummiest Earl Gray, while we were given a presentation on the victorian era, with a focus on underpinnings (which is of course right up my alley!) We had a lovely day for it, and everyone was just so friendly and enthusiastic, that it turned out to be quite a perfect day! I hope very much this is an annual event, because I know it is something I would look forward to each year!
