The New England Costumers group is a group of gals living in and around Massachusetts who love to get together to sew, fabric shop, play dress-up, talk costumes, and just plain have fun! The group began c. 2005, when Sarah reached out into cyberspace and befriended Jenni, and the two, along with Jenni's partner-in-crime, Sydney, formed a tiny costumers group, and began having sewing dates and such. Our first "event" was the first annual "Regency picnic." It involved one member with an almost- finished dress, another showed up with her bodice on a hanger and no skirt attached, and the third came through the door and asked for a drying rack for her soaking wet stays! On top of this, it was absolutely raining.
